Beautiful Locale

We’re located off HWY 85, which connects you to nearby destinations and as far north as Canada, or to Sturgis and Deadwood in the south. Our campground is close enough to the highway to give you easy access to wherever you want to go.

We put you right in the heart of the North Dakota badlands prairie! The nearest campground is 25 miles away, which means you will have an authentic camping experience with us. We’ve got plenty of trees for privacy and shade, with outlets to a number of nearby areas including:

• The Maah Daah Hey Trail, which goes all the way to the Theodore Roosevelt National Park in Medora. Travel it by horse, bike or on foot.
• White Butte, the highest point in North Dakota, is visible from our campground.
• Davis Dam, a popular fishing destination, is just a short journey from your cabin in Amidon, ND and easily accessible to anglers.

Hunting Destinations

There are also numerous hunting grounds nearby, with a diverse range of game that includes pheasant, grouse, partridge, turkey, pronghorn antelope, white tail and mule deer, coyotes, prairie dogs, ducks and geese. We’re always happy to advise hunters, trappers and anglers as to where they’ll have the best luck at any point during the season. On occasion, we even have hunters who bring back their catch and share it with other campers.

Our Accommodations

Our spacious camping grounds support tents and RVs, with log cabin rentals available as well. Access to the site is hassle-free, with no gate or access codes to work with.

We feature full hookups and pull-through spaces at our RV campground in Amidon, ND, making it easy for our RV campers to get in and out.

Our log cabins sleep 5 comfortably and come with beds (full beddings and blankets), towels and a fully-stocked kitchenette, as well as a living room with couch. We’ve also got outdoor grills for your convenience.
Whether you’re camping in a tent or staying in a cabin, we invite you to utilize our shower house while you’re at the campground. It features 2 baths and 2 showers, with a washroom.
